PLAY and Learn Through Art and Yoga

At PLAY, we offer in-depth support and evidence-based teaching to youth and the parents and professionals who support them. PLAY’s unique curriculum is gentle and effective, helping cultivate a stronger mind-body connection and empowering students to apply mindfulness in their daily life.

Since 2017, PLAY has had a strong impact in Greater Phoenix:

The PLAY Way to Greater Joy and Peace

PLAYs innovative programs focus on improving outcomes in these three key areas:

Self Awareness

Greater self-awareness empowers youth to make changes and build on strengths, as well as identifying areas where they would like to make improvements.

The PLAY program increases strength and flexibility, calms the nervous system, and enhances focus and present-moment awareness.

Mind-Body Connection

Improving the mind-body connection results in better emotional health. Young people feel good about themselves and have stronger relationships.

“…PLAY is hands-down the best we’ve ever been to! Their play-based approach engaged my child unlike any other instructors have been able to do. I can’t wait for our next class!”

— Jordan, Phoenix

Mindfulness Matters

Scientific evidence shows that mindfulness and related interventions can improve the mental, emotional, social, and physical health and well-being of young people.  It has been shown to reduce stress, anxiety, reactivity, and problematic behavior, and bring about greater calmness, relaxation, the ability to manage behavior and emotions, self-awareness, and empathy.
